Fulton County elected officials and employees commemorated Black History Month and the founding of the nine historically black sororities and fraternities known as The Divine 9. Hear more from Probate Court Chief Judge Hon Kenya Johnson. These organizations have been active for over a hundred years. They are service organizations that help their communities, address social issues, and promote welfare. So it was exciting to bring all of the Divine 9 members together here in Fulton County so that we can get to know each other and talk about our service projects. We are so fortunate that Fulton County recognizes affinity groups and they gave us permission to hold this organization and that they care about the causes that are important to their employees, so we're thankful that we were able to come together.
