Fulton County Superior Court's Family Division will remain open on December 26 and December 27, 2024 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the sole purpose of providing services related to Family Violence Temporary Protective Orders. Litigants may contact the Family Division at 404-613-0505 or at familydivision@fultoncountyga.gov for assistance.

Ex parte requests for Protective Orders shall be heard by the presiding Judicial Officer on those dates. All other Family Division matters will resume on Monday December 30, 2024. View the Administrative Order here.


UPDATE June 30, 2021 

Local Order to re-impose all deadlines suspended and tolled by the ending of Chief Justice Harold D. Melton’s Statewide Judicial Emergency Order. 

The Fulton County Superior Court, Atlanta Judicial Circuit, presides over cases involving felonies, civil disputes, real estate matters, family and domestic relations issues, and appeals from lower courts.

Superior Court Judges also make decisions that protect abused and neglected children, help victims seek protection, and resolve family crises.

The 20 Judges of the Fulton County Superior Court are elected by the voters of Fulton County.
