A FEMA Disaster Recovery Center is now open in Fulton County to help survivors impacted by two severe weather systems that hit Central Georgia last year. Residents impacted by Tropical Storm Debby in August 2024 or Hurricane Helene, which struck in September may visit the Evelyn G. Lowery Library at Cascade to receive one-on-one assistance.

The center, located at 3665 Cascade Road in Southwest Atlanta, will be open 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday – Saturday, through Saturday, February 8.
