Fulton County Announces 2025 Point in Time Count Dates

November 26, 2024
The Fulton County Department of Community Development, as the collaborative applicant for the GA-502 Fulton County Continuum of Care (COC), will conduct its 2025 Point in Time (PIT) Count on January 22 in South Fulton and January 23 in North Fulton. This annual event is part of a nationwide initiative to gather critical data about homelessness.

The PIT Count is a key tool in understanding the scope of homelessness in Fulton County and helps direct vital resources to the community. The count data creates a "snapshot" of the scope and scale of homelessness, which provides policymakers and funders with critical information on the number and demographic characteristics of persons experiencing homelessness.

The Fulton County Continuum of Care (CoC) is focused on supporting collective efforts to end homelessness. The CoC provides funding to help quickly rehouse individuals and families experiencing homelessness. It also promotes access to mainstream services and programs for those in need, while working to increase self-sufficiency for individuals and families on their path to stable housing.
