Fulton County Recognizes National Voter Registration Day

The Voter Education Outreach Team will hit the road September 17 to encourage residents to get registered to vote.

Fulton County is preparing to join election officials around the region and the country to celebrate National Voter Registration Day, which will be recognized on Tuesday, September 17.

On National Voter Registration Day, a massive effort to register voters ahead of the November 5, 2024, General Primary Election will be underway. Recognition of the day is to encourage all eligible voters to participate in our democracy at the polls.

In recognition of National Voter Registration Day, the Fulton County Voter Education and Outreach team will visit several locations around the county, including:

Every eligible Fulton County voter has the option to exercise their right to vote, and National Voter Registration Day is the right day to make sure voters will be heard at the ballot box once they have become registered voters. Georgia offers online voter registration. You can register by mail to vote in Georgia by printing a voter registration form, filling it out, and mailing it to your local election office. You can also register to vote in person if you prefer. If you have already registered to vote, you can check your registration and remind family and friends to also get registered.
