Fulton County Workforce Development Board is taking comments from the public for the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Local Plan. The Local Plan is a four-year action plan to develop, align, and integrate workforce development services within Fulton County. The plan will help the Workforce Development Board direct investments in economic, education, and workforce training programs to ensure individuals, including youth and individuals with barriers to employment, have the skills to compete in the job market.
The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act WIOA Local Plan will also help ensure employers have a ready supply of skilled workers. The draft Local Plan for 2024 – 2027 will be posted for a 30-day public review and comment period (May 31, 2024 - June 30, 2024). Click here to view the plan.
