Dana Barrett hosted the 3rd Connect the Dots for Digital Equity Workshop at Wolf Creek Library. Hear more from District 3 Commissioner Dana Barrett. Today we've got the kids out with their families. They're getting new laptops, they're getting some training on how to use them, they're getting information on how to get low cost internet at home from Comcast Internet Essentials Program which is $10 if you qualify, and they are going to get a year of tech support on those computers too. We're making our way all around Fulton County getting to all the different libraries. Digital equity is a key component of being part of modern life. If you don't have the digital skills, the hardware, the software, and the internet connection, you're going to fall behind. We want to make sure everyone in Fulton County has access to these tools.
