The annual Bowden Tree Lighting commenced as a toy giveaway was also held. Hear more from District 6 Commissioner Khadijah Abdur-Rahman. What we decided to do this year is to make sure that we had a toy giveaway. We're just showing love and making sure that the families have a holiday joy and cheer and making sure that the kids have gifts for this holiday season. It takes nothing to show love. So I'm asking everyone let's be that village that Martin Luther King Jr. talked about, and let's check on our neighbors and friends during this holiday season. Let's show love.
