This 3-class series includes workshops in basic insect management for gardeners, with free workshops in basic entomology (virtual), integrated pest management basics (virtual) and an insect-scouting workshop (in person).
The first of these courses will feature the history of common landscape insects and how to identify them, whereas the second explains sustainable pest management for the garden or farm. The final, in-person course, open only to growers, farmers and community garden leaders, features pest-monitoring tools and the use of natural insect predators. The first two classes are open to the general public and the last course is only available to growers, gardeners or community garden leaders.
