In recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Auburn Avenue Research Library celebrates with a film festival coined, Afro-Latinx Heritage Film Month Festival. This series highlights groundbreaking documentary films celebrating the beauty and wonder of the African and Latino communities. The film festival is all documentaries focusing on African communities within Latin America and Central America from Cuba to Mexico to Honduras to the Dominican Republic, and really highlighting the rich cultures in those countries that we rarely get to see when we open up newspapers or we travel to these places.
