Fulton Commissioners allowed $500,000 to help develop a safe haven for domestic sex trafficking victims. The resolution passed during the September regular meeting and approves funds to support the expansion of the Wellspring Living non-profit organization. It's all thanks to the American Rescue Plan Act funds; the funds will assist at-risk victims with specialized recovery services through residential and community-based programming. The 8 acre expansion of the Wellspring Living Campus in the City of South Fulton will include tiny homes and other housing options. Wellspring hopes to help up to 300 survivors a year.
