There are new variants of COVID-19 and new booster shots for these new variants were given out at the Government Center and by the Board of Health. Fulton County Manager Dick Anderson was among those receiving the new bivalent COVID-19 booster shot and he encourages others to do the same. The Fulton County Board of Health is administering the new shot which is designed to offer dual protection against both the original strain of the virus and the predominant omicron strain. It's available to patients as young as 12 years old and up. No appointment is necessary.
