The Fulton County Police Department, in partnership with Fulton County agencies and local neighborhoods, are joining forces with communities across the nation to celebrate and participate in National Night Out 2021.
The event seeks to link police with the communities they serve in an effort to fight crime through cooperation and links those residents with community services. Among those participating in this year’s event are Fulton County Sheriff’s Deputies, Fulton County Marshalls, the Atlanta-Fulton County Emergency Management Agency as well as Emergency Services.
Join the Fulton County Police Department at its “National Night Out” event on Tuesday August 3, 2021, from 6pm until 8pm at the Aviation Community Cultural Center located at 3900 Aviation Cir NW, Atlanta, GA 30336.
The event will include outreach to a population in the immediate area that resides in hotels and motels in the Fulton Industrial Boulevard corridor. COVID vaccinations will be offered on site by the Fulton Vaccination Unit. Fulton Fresh and Hosea Feed the Hungry will be in attendance and the Fulton County Police Department will be distributing backpacks with school supplies during the event. Quantities are limited, backpacks will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
“National Night Out is an event we look forward to every year. This event gives us the opportunity to showcase the work we are doing to serve our community and it provides a space for members of the community to learn more about the various public safety agencies throughout the county that work tirelessly to serve them,” says Fulton County Police Chief William Yates. “Partnering with our community is vital in the fight against crime.”
