Introducing the Elections Academy

Welcome to the Fulton County Department of Registration & Elections Academy, an exciting new initiative designed to engage and educate County residents about the intricacies of our electoral process. The Elections Academy offers a unique opportunity for citizens to gain a deeper understanding of election operations and processes while fostering a sense of community involvement and transparency.

What is the Elections Academy?

The Elections Academy is a comprehensive program that aims to demystify the electoral process for residents of all ages. Participants will learn about various aspects of election administration. The Elections Academy was created to empower voters by eliminating misinformation, providing voters the resources to find accurate information. This program is perfect for anyone interested in civic engagement, community service, or simply gaining a better understanding of how our elections work.

What will you learn?

Participants in the Elections Academy will gain insights into:

• Voter Registration:
• Understanding the importance of voter registration, the processes involved, and how to assist others in registering.
• Election Operations:
• Explore the logistics of setting up and managing polling stations, including the training and responsibilities of poll workers.
• Election Information Resources:
• Learn where to find accurate election operations information

Tour the New Elections Hub

As a highlight of the program, participants will receive an exclusive tour of our state-of-the-art Elections Hub. This new facility is equipped with the latest technology and resources to ensure efficient and secure election management. During the tour, you will see firsthand how our dedicated team prepares for and executes each election, maintaining the highest standards of transparency and reliability.  Please note that all participants will be required to sign a tour liability waiver prior to the tour to ensure their safety and compliance with our protocols.
