Thomas Wight served seven years in the U.S. Army. His career as a trial lawyer extends across four decades. He has tried more than 200 criminal cases, 50 courts-martial, and a dozen civil actions. He has represented his clients in more than 150 appeals, including as attorney of record in 40 published appellant opinions. He works as an advocate for the people to make Fulton County a safer place to live and work. As a Christian, Thomas tries to keep the perspective that our Savior, the greatest advocate of all, is both just and merciful.
When not representing the people of Fulton County Thomas spends time with his horses. He also enjoys hiking. He has explored the more than 800 miles of trials in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. He has hiked the Pacific Crest Trail, the Ice Age Trail, and sections of the Appalachian Trail.
