I was born in Brooklyn, NY, and resided in Suffolk County, NY for almost 35 years before moving to Spartanburg, SC, where I was first certified. I had several different jobs in NY and owned my trucking firm for 15 years before being employed by the Town of Babylon. I was also a reserve officer in New York for 15 years. I am once divorced with a son and daughter and remarried to my wonderful and loyal wife Willann, of 20 plus years, with two stepdaughters. We have one Jack Russell named Pixie who is wide open.

We currently live in Auburn GA (near Dacula) and have lived in that area since 2014. I was first certified in South Carolina in 1994 and re-certified in Georgia in 2005. I am also jailer certified from Gwinnett County and have had about 2000 hours of law enforcement training since 1994. I have completed two overseas missions as a law enforcement professional. My first mission was in Kosovo where I led ten units consisting of 235 international investigators conducting complex and sensitive investigations. My second mission in 2010 was in Kandahar, Afghanistan where I trained US forces in tactical site exploitation, or in layman’s terms, processing crime scenes and interviewing suspects after incidents of terrorism. I was also an advisor to senior military officials on law enforcement matters.

I came to this office in May 2015 where I worked in the old complaint room, then the trial and public integrity unit. Before being assigned as an Assistant Chief in the Trial division I was assigned to the Case Intake Unit.

We have four grandkids that take up a lot of our spare time. Three of the four grandkids are in Colorado Springs (FT Carson) and the other in Chapin, SC. We see them every opportunity that we can. We also own a home in Venice, Florida that we rent and get to visit every chance we can.
I enjoy my work here and believe in the goals of this administration. I generally tend to get into work very early in the morning and am always willing to help anyone with anything that is needed.
