Siri Patel

Driven by a lifelong passion for justice, Siri Patel has built her career as a dedicated prosecutor for the State of Georgia. She earned a joint JD/MBA from Georgia State University College of Law, where she was a Ben F. Johnson Scholar and served as a Graduate Research Assistant. Siri also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the Georgia Institute of Technology Scheller College of Business. A proud graduate of the Fulton County public school system, she has called Fulton County home for over 30 years.

Siri began her prosecutorial career in 2017 at the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office as a newly minted attorney. In her first year, she served as counsel on two highly publicized murder trials, demonstrating her skill and dedication early in her career. She soon took on her own caseload, managing hundreds of cases, including murder, sexual assault, and child abuse. Siri has served as lead counsel in many felony trials, some involving complex legal issues, significant obstacles, and high-stakes scenarios. Her exceptional work earned her the prestigious Lewis Slaton Highest Achievement Award in 2018 and the title of “Rising Star” of the Special Victims Division in 2021. In her role as Deputy of the Sexual Assault Unit, Siri is dedicated to protecting all victims of sexual abuse, regardless of their background, gender, sex, or socio-economic status.

Beyond her work in the courtroom, Siri extends her commitment to justice through community engagement and professional service. She volunteers with organizations like Raksha and is an active member of the South Asian Bar Association, the Georgia Asian Pacific American Bar Association, and the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers. Siri is also a guest lecturer at Georgia Tech and enjoys participating in alumni events at both Georgia State College of Law and Georgia Tech.
