Deputy District Attorney Vincent Faucette is a native of Atlanta, Georgia, and a product of Atlanta Public Schools (Frederick Douglass). He is a graduate of the Georgia State School of Business (BBA Finance) and The University of Kentucky College of Law.
Vincent has spent his entire 16-year career focusing on trial advocacy. He began his career as a prosecutor in the Coweta Judicial Circuit in 2005, where he successfully prosecuted felony cases and defended convictions on appeal. In 2014, Vincent was hired by the Fulton County District’s Attorney’s Office, where he was assigned to the Major Case Unit. In this unit, Vincent honed his skills as a prosecutor handling homicide and vehicular homicide cases. In 2017, Vincent transitioned to prosecuting child-related crimes and human trafficking cases in the DeKalb County District Attorney’s Office. After leaving DeKalb County and practicing civil law for a year, Vincent returned to the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office where he now serves in the capacity of Deputy District Attorney of the Capital and Cold Case Unit.
The opportunity to engage in public service is the aspect that Vincent enjoys most as a prosecutor in the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office. Vincent places the highest value on not only trial preparation, but also developing close relationships with the victims he represents. He is an active member in both the legal and local communities. He is a member of the Georgia Bar, Atlanta Bar Association, and The National Black Prosecutors Association. He lives in Atlanta with his wife, daughter, dog (Sandy), and cat (Frick).
