Jeremy Murray is a dedicated professional in the field of social justice, having made a significant impact throughout his impressive 7-year career. He has collaborated with more than 70 social, political, and nonprofit organizations and campaigns, successfully raising over $18 million for political and nonprofit causes. Prior to his work in these spheres, Jeremy spent 5 years in healthcare, further solidifying his commitment to progressive causes and helping others.
Originally hailing from East Tennessee, Jeremy pursued his education at Northeast State Community College and East Tennessee State University, focusing on Sociology and Biology. As a respected alumnus of United Way of Greater Atlanta VIP and an active member of Netroots Nation, Jeremy collaborates actively with influential organizations to drive positive change.
Presently, Jeremy holds the position of Executive Assistant to the DA, having joined the administration when DA Willis assumed office in January of 2021. He also serves as the Co-Founder and Co-Chair of the DA Fani T. Willis LGBTQ+ Advisory Committee, advising DA Willis on how to proceed with bias-based and LGBTQ+-targeted felony crimes. Additionally, the committee educates law enforcement partners and schools on how to appropriately report and investigate such crimes. Jeremy takes immense pride in his volunteer work within the community and in spending time with family, friends, and his dog, Chase.
