Asia's unwavering dedication to public service has defined her remarkable career journey. After earning her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee, she embarked on a path of teaching with the esteemed Teach for America program in Memphis. During her time as an 8th-grade math teacher, Asia went above and beyond by coaching both the cheerleading and dance teams at her middle school.

Driven by a passion for justice and human rights, Asia pursued a Juris Doctorate from Northeastern University School. Her legal journey took her to Delhi, India, where she served as a PHRGE Fellow at the Human Rights Law Network, advocating fervently for the maternal rights of women.

Throughout law school, Asia demonstrated exceptional leadership and community involvement, serving as Chair of the Black Law Students Association and actively participating in the Women's Law Caucus, the Student Bar Association's Governing Council, and the Youth Advocacy Committee.

Post law school, Asia's prosecutorial career began at the Kings County District Attorney's Office in Brooklyn, New York, where she fearlessly tackled cases ranging from attempted murder to domestic violence and elder abuse. Her passion for community engagement led her to educate the public on sensitive issues such as intimate partner violence, teen violence, and elder abuse.

Asia's exceptional legal acumen brought her to the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office, where she commenced as a Senior Assistant District Attorney in the Domestic Violence Unit, prosecuting some of the most harrowing intimate partner felonies and homicides. Rising through the ranks, she later became a Chief Senior Assistant District Attorney in the Major Crimes Unit, contributing to the prosecution of non-specialized homicides in Fulton County.

Recognized for her outstanding performance, Asia was honored with the prestigious Brenda Baham Award in 2021, a testament to her unwavering commitment to justice and victims' rights.

Beyond her legal endeavors, Asia actively engages in various community initiatives and is a valued member of the National Black Prosecutors Association and the Atlanta Junior League. Additionally, she serves on the boards of the Greater Atlanta Black Prosecutors Association and the Leadership Counsel of Teach for America, embodying her dedication to making a positive impact at both local and national levels.
