Born in Flint, Michigan, Case Intake Deputy District Kevin Majeske grew up in Northern Virginia just outside of Washington, D.C. In high school, he played the cello in orchestra and studied music at the University of South Carolina. After graduating college, he moved to the Atlanta area to teach orchestra at Fulton County Schools for about 10 to 12 years. While teaching, he attended John Marshall Law School, graduating in 2013.
After passing the Georgia Bar in 2014, he went to work for two law firms, specializing in bankruptcy and criminal defense. He then joined the Fulton County Solicitor’s Office, where he prosecuted misdemeanor criminal cases. Subsequently, he joined the Dekalb Solicitor’s Office for 3 ½ years before being hired under the administration of Madam DA. Kevin briefly was assigned to Non-complex/Case Intake for about a year before ending up in White Collar.
For the few who may not know, Kevin is a fraternal twin. His brother, John, works for a defense law firm. Kevin is happily married and the father of two boys – ages 1 and 5. His favorite pastime – if he has any time between work and children - is playing the cello, indulging in video games, and watching movies.
