In her sixth year at the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office, Felicia Dickens is a true criminal justice connoisseur. As a Deputy Legal Assistant, Felicia oversees many units and has a keen eye and attention to detail, which is an asset among the attorneys she works with.
By way of New Jersey, Felicia grew up in Stone Mountain, Georgia. After graduating high school in 2004, she attended cosmetology school and obtained a Master Stylist license in the state of Georgia. Shortly thereafter she immersed herself into the Criminal Justice field. After obtaining an Associate’s Degree in Visual Arts and Science from DeKalb Technical College, that was the green light she needed to start her journey into the justice system. Felicia attended Saint Leo University where she received her Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice. And in March of 2020, Felicia graduated once again from Saint Leo University, but this time with her Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice with a specialization in Forensic Science.
As career-driven as Felicia is, in her downtime, you can find her getting lost in the music and interpretive dance at a local dance studio or around a bon fire with friends and family. When asked what Felicia likes to do for fun, the first thing that always comes out first is “to learn”. Learning is a process and it takes time. To be the best version of yourself and live and work at your full potential, you have to first trust the process, put in the time, and learn.
